Exit Perplexity is a series of experimental posters that dive deep into the personal process of pushing through the state of perplexity. Perplexity, by definition, is the inability to deal with or understand something complicated or unaccountable. Each poster was created using a strong use of light and shadow to simulate this process. The foreground is meant to represent the feeling of being stuck in confusion with the use of a physical (and emotional) block. By shining light through the block, a shadow is portrayed which perceives the process of escaping the state of perplexity. For this series, I focused on music as the escape from perplexity.
